Peter McMillan is a Co-Founder, along with Keith Hall, of Pacific Oak Capital Advisors and Pacific Oak Capital Markets. He is also the co-founder and managing partner of Willowbrook Capital Group, LLC. Prior to forming Willowbrook in 2000, McMillan served as the executive vice president and chief investment officer of SunAmerica Investments, Inc., which was later acquired by AIG. As chief investment officer, he was responsible for over $75 billion in assets, including residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities, public and private investment-grade and non-investment-grade corporate bonds and commercial mortgage loans and real estate investments.
Before joining SunAmerica in 1989, he served as assistant vice president for Aetna Life Insurance and Annuity Company with responsibility for the company’s $6 billion fixed-income portfolios.
Peter received his Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from the Wharton Graduate School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors in Economics from Clark University. Peter is a director of TCW/ MetWest Mutual Funds.
