As Chief Financial Officer for Pacific Oak Capital Advisors, Michael is responsible for all accounting, reporting, and operations of the company.
Michael has over 30 years of finance and accounting experience, focused on public, finance and commercial real estate entities. His most recent domestic experience was as Chief Financial Officer of Spirit Realty Capital, a NYSE single-tenant net lease REIT. Subsequently, Michael served as Chief Financial Officer of Kamal Osman Jamjoom, LLC, a 1,000-store private brand retailer headquartered in Dubai, UAE. Previously, he held senior roles in various finance, accounting and capital market functions with Republic Services, American Express, FINOVA and International Ingredient Corporation. Michael began his career at Deloitte, as a Senior Manager in the attest function.
Michael graduated from Arizona State University with both a Masters of Business Administration Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
